Mattis is a recently retired member of the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety, which has graciously provided its consent to use Mattis as Black Kraken's founding stud. Despite spending his days taking down bad guys, Mattis lives at home with his handler K9 Officer Mark and is incredibly gentle with children.
