To ensure you get the full package, we are a breeder and trainer, all in one. We are a small family-run kennel that breeds and trains premium genetics Working Line German Shepherds. What makes us different from all the rest – in addition to our top-quality bloodlines -  is that in addition to a Classic Package that sends our pups to selected homes at 8 weeks old, we offer the BK Obedience Package whereby puppies are boarded, socialized, and trained so by the time your puppy goes home with you at 6 months old, s/he will be fully trained in functional obedience and house manners.

Black Kraken Obedience Package

Imagine a fully trained purebred German Shepherd puppy created just for you.  Most people do not have the time, skill, or commitment necessary to correctly train a dog to the point where the dog demonstrates real results (ex. “come” when called, regardless of distractions). The reality is most puppies today either go untrained or minimally trained  - where going to training classes results in very little noticeable difference in the puppy’s behaviour after completion of the class.  Here’s where we come in!

Black Kraken Classic Package

With the Classic Package, 8 week old puppies are available to selected homes. These puppies will undergo the same early neurological stimulation and desensitization as their Obedience Package litter mates, including the BK Puppy Resilience Program, however socialization and training will be up to the owner. Of course, the whole BK team is available to answer any questions throughout the dog’s life.
